He has basically been an entrepreneur right from the start. His past roles include CFO and member of the managing board of a software company with more than 1,000 employees, managing director of an IT company and member of several supervisory boards. He has been active as an investor for more than 20 years and invested in about 40 start-up and scale-up companies.

He is a professor of economics at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences where he also co-leads the department of business and economics as a vice dean. Previously, he spent several years at McKinsey as a consultant and manager. Andreas still is an external advisor to McKinsey, a speaker on global economic trends, and a freelance strategy consultant.
